Well worth it. We did this with our two children on our first night in Amsterdam. Enjoyed being tourists and the service was great - really friendly staff serving on the boat. In the following few days while we walked around the city, we recognized several places we had seen from the boat, so a good way to get a sense of the city. And it was fun!
