This was a fun way to see Versailles and also get great exercise. The grounds are breathtaking and this is the only way to truly experience the vastness of the property. Shopping for food at the open market and the picnic at the end of the canal overlooking the palace was a treat and worth the effort on bike. The ride back after lunch was a bit strenuous in some parts because of incline, but doable with some effort. Definitely not for the out of shape.
