On leaving Paris, it was raining and we drove through fog and snow, but by the time we arrived at Mont St Michel, the sky was vibrant blue and it was quite warm and welcoming. A trip not for the faint hearted with lots of stairs to climb, but it is worth it as the views are amazing. Our guide was very passionate and gave us a day to remember.
