Your visit begins in the Alhambra, whose construction began in the 11thcentury on the red hill known as Assabika which overlooks Granada. TheAlcazaba fortress was the first structure to be built, followed by theroyal palace and residence of members of the court.
You willvisit the most important halls and courtyards of the Alhambra,including the Alcazaba fortress, the Serrallo, the Patio of losArrayanes (Myrtle Courtyard), the Hall of la Barca, the Salon of theEmbajadores (Ambassadors Hall), the Patio de los Leones (LionsCourtyard), the Hall of the Abencerrajes, the Royal Baths and thePalace of Charles V.
Continuing to the Generalife Gardens, nextto the Alhambra, you'll visit the retreat of leisure and recreation forthe Moorish kings of Granada. The beautiful gardens feature abundantand varied flora and stunning water features. Your visit includes twofurther courtyards, the Patio de la Acequia and the Patio de la Sultana.
