What better way to experience San Juan then to sample the local food? This small-group lunch tour begins in Old San Juan, where you'll meet your expert foodie guide. As you stroll through the blue cobblestone streets of Old San Juan, admire the colorful, flat-roofed buildings and listen as your guide points out historical points of interest, such as the Cathedral of San Juan Bautista and La Fortaleza, the governor's mansion.
With your guide, visit three local restaurants specializing in delicious Puerto Rican cuisine and taste several small dishes at each. Try a variety of Puerto Rican and Spanish-influenced foods such as mofongo (a fried plantain-based dish famous in Puerto Rico), Chicarrones de Pollo (Puerto Rican-style fried chicken), a pina colada, Puerto Rican coffee, local rum and more!
