This excursion takes you to a most enchanting alpine world of the Bernese Oberland. Enjoy a guided tour in comfortable deluxe coach on scenic route via Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen. With the Wengernalp rack railway you will enjoy a 45-minute trip up through idyllic alpine meadows and forests up to Kleine Scheidegg (6762 ft). Here you will find yourself in front of the most magnificent mountain backdrop of Mts Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau.
The imposing Eiger North Face is within touching distance. In winter you might want to enjoy a tobogganing ride on the 'Eiger run' (sled rental on the spot). The train trip down the other side follows the north-west slopes of the Eiger to the famous resort of Grindelwald where your coach awaits you for the return trip to Zurich.
You have the possibility to take an earlier train from Kleine Scheidegg to Grindelwald to visit this picuturesque village. A meeting time in Grindelwald village can be arranged with the driver to meet up with the rest of the group later at Grindelwald Grund. Furthemore, you can make a break on the train journey from Lauterbrunnen - Kleine Scheidegg in Wengen to visit this popular automobile free holiday resort, continue 1 hour later on the next train to Kleine Scheidegg.
