Discover the beautiful beaches of Portugal's "Sunny Coast" on a relaxing afternoon excursion from Lisbon. You'll travel to Estoril, the Bay of Cascais and Boca do Inferno, then cross Sintra Mountain to visit the idyllic Palacio Nacional da Pena in Sintra.
Your first stop is picturesque Estoril, where Ian Fleming (author of the James Bond series of novels) hit on the idea for Casino Royale. Estoril is often referred to as the Portuguese Riviera, as it is home to Europe's biggest casino. You will also see the colorful Bay of Cascais and the picturesque cliff of Boca do Inferno, Guincho.
The excursions continues to Cabo da Roca, Europe's westernmost point. The tour stops here from April 1 to October 31 only.
Your tour then takes you across Sintra Mountain and its lush gardens to visit the fairytale Palacio Nacional da Pena in Sintra (closed on Wednesdays, when the tour visits Queluz Palace instead).
