Overview
Go behind the scenes in Los Angeles to experience the Tournament of Roses, Americas most famous New Years celebration. Ring in the New Year with a festive dinner and dance gala complete with hats, live music, party favors, and champagne. Celebrate New Year’s Day by watching the Tournament of Roses Parade in reserved grandstand seats at the beginning of the parade route. Later, get up close and personal with the parade floats at the post-parade viewing—a highlight of the trip for many—and smell the roses and other flowers that adorn the floats. Other highlights of the trip include a farewell dinner on board the RMS Queen Mary and a visit to either the Getty Museum to see its extensive art collection or the Ronald Regan Presidential Library, celebrating the life of the 40th U.S. President. This year, don’t just watch the Tournament of Roses parade on TV; see it live with prime viewing seats!

City Highlights
Los Angeles Visit to the Getty Museum or the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library; New Year’s Eve Dinner & Dance Gala; grandstand seats for the Tournament of Roses Parade; post-parade float viewing; farewell dinner on board the RMS Queen Mary
Day 1 Arrive in Los Angeles. Welcome to Los Angeles! At 6 pm, meet your traveling companions for a welcome reception. Your Tour Director will prepare you for your upcoming adventure. (WR)
Day 2 Los Angeles. This morning, depart on a Los Angeles city tour followed by your choice of included activities. You may visit the GETTY MUSEUM, housing a collection of Western art from the Middle Ages to the present, or the RONALD REAGAN PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY, celebrating the life of the 40th U.S. President. Next, head to Santa Monica for free time to explore and enjoy lunch. This evening, join your traveling companions at a special Globus New Year’s Eve DINNER & DANCE GALA, complete with hats, party favors, live music, and, of course, champagne! (B,D)
Day 3 Los Angeles. Tournament of Roses Parade. Happy New Year! Get ready for one of the world’s most popular parades—and you’ll see it live on its 124th anniversary! Globus has specially selected RESERVED GRANDSTAND SEATS at the beginning of the parade route for prime viewing. See the spectacular floral floats, marching bands from around the world, and celebrities. (B,L)
Day 4 Los Angeles. This morning, view the individual floats in the POST-PARADE VIEWING AREA. For many, this is the highlight of the entire event, as you can get up close and smell the roses. Be sure to bring your camera! Another special treat tonight—a farewell dinner on board the historic RMS QUEEN MARY. (B,D)
Day 5 Los Angeles. The vacation ends today with guests departing on individual schedules. Airport transfers are provided. (B)
